Good to see your still ticking along there Ben. Geez you cant leave that thing alone for a minute, can you? Great stuff though, big bore whooo hooo! High comps hey, so your going to run methenol? I ran the XS on av gas last week and it sorted out the slightly to rich jetting just nicely. Also I've been doing a bit of window shopping at the big bore shop, they've got a nice 840 kit with 12.1 ross pistons mmmmmm niiice! Coupled with a 270* crank and some bigger valves, rocketpower...........

If you decide to go to a 270 or 90 degree crank give me a call and I will put you in touch with my brother who has already done one on his XS 650. As I remember it the crank was dead easy but the camshaft and the ignition not so easy but he did it and so could you.

Howdy all, been without a pc for a while so it was good to find the site here and all in one piece!
Well to finish up the story here, November we had our season finale, bloody hot day! Had the best racing yet, dicing with Adrian on his RZ350 in all 3 races. We both were having a fat time (got him 2/1)with heaps of passing each other under brakes, or on the outside of the 4th gear left hander. Absolutely fantastic day, still smiling about it now! Was a great days racing all round with all the other classes putting on a good show! Thats it, first season done and dusted, bloody awesome year, many many thanks to all involved in making it possible to do it Finished up with 3rd place for the year (out of 4) awesome!

I guess it cost another $1000 or so keeping the XS going through the year, bringing total costs upto around $7000. Not bloody bad I reckon, and with all ready for this coming season.........cant wait!

Thats about me for a while, hope everyones busy out there getting prepd up for a good year ahead. Happy new year folks, I'll see ya's out there, Yamaman
