The new hill climb at Mt Buller is a goer.
We shall have the evening on Friday 31 October 2008 as a welcome function and racing on Saturday 1 November 2008 in two sessions, one in the morning and the afternoon finishing at about 3pm.
Scrutineering may be available on Friday evening.
Entires close about 23rd October 2008.
Cost about $81 if we get 30 competitors which seems possible.

I would love it if you indicated whether you are coming, since I am nervous about a new event.

Max Hooper and I are off to the Mansfield township to sort out with all the other organisations a safety plan and a special presentation ceremony etc. I have to convince the cops sidecars will be ok and since all sidecar teams are gentlemen I dont see a problem, but with Max's assistance I am sure we will get it right.
I have not got numbers yet for entires but I am aware bookings for accomodation are going through. Also, the Class C blokes will be attending with up to 8 machines.

Meeting at Mansfield went well.
So far we have only 3 entires to this event. It will need greater support than this to get up, so please hurry and get the entry in. If you want to wait until the Southern Classic is over, dont worry, we will send your fees back if you cannot attend, but it makes life easier at my end.
