I've got a 'remember when' for you all. A guy reminded me last weekend when Ron was fatally injured at Bathurst. I was in the pits and came across Ron working on two TZs he was making a comeback on. I had a bit of a chat with him. Five minutes later he had his incident at Skyline. Apparently they couldn't stop him bleeding.

The guy I was talking to asked me about riding at Bathurst, and I said I wouldn't go there. Incidently Allan Greening had a big crash there in about 1958, and didn't race for about 15years.

So if you ride at Bathurst, I know you're a hero - ride carefully.

Best Regards,
