I have been informed that the blue elf fuel left from the GP bikes is being used in a P4 two stroke. Is that legal?

Its not only just petrol. My 125gp goes far better tuned to elf than it does with methanol/nitro mix yet our sidecar (cb750/4 powered)wont even start on it yet loves the meth/nitro mix.
Does anyone know of the price of elf unleaded at all as Im due to buy some soon but dont know who the importer is, any ideas?

Regards
Neill

To suggest Elf, or VP, etc race fuels "are just petrol" is pretty naive. An RS125 for instance has different timing & jetting specs for individual fuels let alone the weather and track conditions. The performance difference over petrol is dramatic, though methanol is good for cleaning things I'm told. With the changes to fuel regs I don't know if its legal though.
