I have been asked to inspect a potential new hill climb circuit in Victoria. I am curious to hear how many people would be interested to partake at a new circuit and in fact partake of hill climbs generall. My club has somebody very keen to promote hillclimbs but he does not have much public support. Now is the time to put your hand up, please.

John looks like Hillclimbs are out because nobody has put their hand up. Thats unfortunate because they can be great fun. Bring it up here!

I am not sure about that. Hillclimbs have ben very popular in the past with a small group, I am interested to find out more about it and see if interest can be created. |

John, we are certainly intersted in having a go. Since we are very new to the sport, I guess we need a bit more info before commiting ourselves, i.e. is it something that newbies should try before gaining sufficient experience? Is the new track that you are referring to in Gippsland? If so, we might be of help as our uncle is the chief mover and shaker at this circuit. Cheers, Buck & Peen (Sidecar No. 20) |

We met your uncle, he warned us about you two! Yes that the place its fantastic. We will recomend a club day there. Track hire is $1375 inc GST plus mewdical. Camping is OK. It is wonderful, probally better for the twin powered sidecars, I did lots of wheel spinning , but it was the first time it was used. Dust everywhere.
More later when ther committee sees the grins on our faces. I managed to do a clutch in, but I dont think that was the track. |

Sounds great. Let us know if there is anything that we can do, or help with?
John B (Uncle) has been in touch and said that he met you guy's. His comments re us are true, or not, as the case may be!!
BTW, the response from the car guys down there re your display was fantastic. They reckon that sidecar racers are crazy, but are very gealous!!

From all accounts the crowd at the Gippsland circuit loved the demo and want to see more of us back again. If the track is around the 1.5 - 2.0km length, wouldn't it be ideal for a combined event? Lets give this one a go. Cheers, Buck & Peen (Sidecar No. 20)
