Hiya All,

Just a quick one: How long does a battery last when running total loss on two cylinders?

Thanks!
Ben.

Depends on what battery you use Ben.
I've seen 1 bloke, and I'm sure theres others, using a cordless drill battery. He keeps 1 on charge and 1 in the bike, I think he may even have a 3rd charged on standby. He just swaps them each race.

BEN been their done that.. a normal size Motorcycle battery will last a full day of racing ok BUT you have to REMEMBER to turn the switch OFF other wise 3 things can happen..
! battery goes flat
2 coils can over heat and cause shorted turns
3 points can burn
Charge ovenite for next day always check water level!! before and after charg'n

I have never seen a battery run!!
Is it because they have heard what you solo blokes do to them or is there another reason they bolt. I found if I keep the door of the shed closed they dont get far.

Can I also suggest a deep cucle battery? they start at about 15 - 17 Amp hors, and hold charge for ages. They are also gooc for cranking over if needed. I often do, so the boss tells me!!
